- #DragonHeist Larys enters through a windows and heads aroudn the frotn of the building to unlock the door for the party. As he does so he notices the walls are covered in several layers of increasingly unhinged paintings of beasts, fiends, and monstrosities. The party heads up the stairs to the second floor
- #DragonHeist As Larys and Renaer Neverember reach the second floor landing, Khilaine turns towards them from the easel and notices Renaer immediately she yells at Renaer. Inside the chamber, the walls are adorned with status of dwarves carved from stone. The party comes across more doors with Dwarvish writing on them that the party can't decipher. They notice a numebr of decrepit bridges they opt not to cross for safety. As the party passes another set of double doors, they pass a fresco, and Kal feels a faint magic, and can tell that they had to mentally resist something. Emmaera turns to look at Kal and her eyes cross the painting for a brief moment and she becomes enthralled with the painting, unable to move. Kal Picks Emmaera up and throws her over their shoulder and Emmaera fights to free herself. The further the pair get from the painting, the more feral Emmeara gets. Larys hog ties Emmaera while Kal turns back to detroy the painting. Once destroyed, Emmaera returns to normal.
- #DragonHeist The party enters a new chamber with walls adorned with what look to be warhammers. Across the hall, the party spots a mural of the Dwarven creation myth. There are three crumbling bridges, each leading to a separate room with closed doors. From the wall behind the party, a bunch of black slimy oil oozes out, forming a number of tentacles.
- #DragonHeist #Battle Renaer Neverember attacks the Black Pudding but misses. Part of his rapier, now soaked in the slime has begun to corrode. He takes a small amount of damage Busvine fire a guiding bolt at the creature, critically dealing incredible amount of damage to it. The creature shudders and splits into two smaller creatures. Kal swings their maul at the tentacle closest to them, and the creature recoils in pain, before splitting into two again. Emmaera blasts the largest creature with ray of frost and it splits again. There are now 4 sub-screatures who attack Renaer and he becomes bloodied. Larys uses his Javelin of lightning to hit all four slimes at once, unfortunately they are immune to lightning damage. Renaer rallies himself and attacks two of the slimes, killing both but taking further damage in the process. Kal squishes out one of the two remainign slimes and manages to dodge the acid splashback in the process. Emmaera finishes off the final slime with a quick spell shot with the flick of her wrist
- #DragonHeist Emmaera hands Renaer Neverember a potion of healing as he's beginning to look a little green in the gills after the battle with the Black Pudding. Kal and Busvine jump the gap in the bridge on the right hand side, and enter the small room on the far end. Inside the room is a statue of a dwarven god wearing a mask. At it's feet is a trapdoor made of Adamantium. Busvine opens the trap door, but before she has a chance to move, the eyes of the statue erupt with flames and do substantial damage to Busvine, while Kal is able to dodge out of the way. Kal hands Busvine a potion of greater healing which she uses to restore some health. Busvine gets on Kal's shoulders and the pair jump back over the bridge.
- #DragonHeist Emmaera is thrown by Kal and Larys across the middle bridge and enters the room on the far end. The room is lined with suits of armor, and a riddle written in Dwarvish beside. Emmaera uses Minor Illusion to communicate with Busvine across the bridge. The riddle asks for a secret never told before. Emmaera tells him they're here on behalf of Laeral Silverhand. The dwarf is surprised at this. When Emmaera mentiones the idea that Daggalt Neverember stole the gold, he blinks in what appears to be a hidden shame. The Dwarf introduces himself asBarok Clanghammer Aurinax. He demands Laeral Silverhand be brought to him, but insists the party tell her that Aurinax wished to speak with her. The party leaves the chamber, but Emmaera stays behind with Barok.

A moment later, Laeral Silverhand and her retinue appears and orders Meloon Away. The Dark Elf's name is revealed to be jarlaxle Baenre, of house Menzoberranzzan, and he was the one who had impersonated Laerel before. Jarlaxle leaves with his band of dark elves leaving Laerel and her retinue alone with the party.
- #DragonHeist Laeral Silverhand and the party return to Aurinox and Emmaera. Aurinox transforms into his ginormous dragon form. Laerel asks him to relinquish the hord to her. Aurinox at first seems to not be swayed, but Busvine chimes in, in defense of Laerels handling of the city, which is enough to convince the dragon to agree. Laerel thanks the party for their efforts.
